Anthony Cannella Leads Way on Bipartisan Water Bond Measure
As a part of the bipartisan delegation leading the way on California’s water bond measure, Anthony Cannella joined with Central Valley legislators to come to an agreement on one of California’s most pressing issues: Water.
All five Northern San Joaquin legislators – including state Senators Anthony Cannella (R-Ceres), Cathleen Galgiani (D-Stockton), Tom Berryhill (R-Twain Harte), and state Assemblymembers Adam Gray (D-Merced), and Kristin Olsen (R-Modesto) - worked together to pass a $7.5 billion water bond measure that will appear on the November ballot.
“The bipartisanship is the big victory here,” said Berryhill. “It was a true team effort and something we’re all very proud of.”
“We fought hand-in-hand,” Cannella added.
