Councilmember Mike Gipson's Endorsements Continue to Grow
Carson City Councilmember Mike Gipson has no shortage of endorsements in his race for Assembly District 64. Receiving 51.1% of the vote in the primary, Gipson has been endorsed by a community leaders, elected officials, including sitting Assemblymember Isadore Hall, and state and local organizations.
In the four-way primary competition, Long Beach Councilman Steve Neal came in third place with 15 percent of the vote, who has since backed Gipson for Assembly.
