Mike Gipson Frontrunner in Assembly District 64
Mike Gipson is the frontrunner in the race for California’s 64th State Assembly District, running against Prophet La'Omar Walker.
Mike’s experience on the Carson City Council and commitment to representing his constituents, not his political party, earned him the endorsement of sitting Assemblymember Isadore Hall:
"Over the last twenty years, Mike has dedicated himself to creating jobs, strengthening public safety and making government more effective and accountable. He currently serves as the Chief of Staff to Board of Equalization Chairman Jerome Horton, and he previously held leadership positions in the offices of Congressman Mervyn Dymally, State Senator Bill Greene, Los Angeles City Councilmember Robert Farrell, and Los Angeles City Councilmember Mark Ridley-Thomas.
In order to jump start out local economy, attract businesses, create jobs and ensure that our neighborhoods and schools are safe, we need to elect experienced leaders with the proven ability to bring people together to get things done. That is precisely the reputation that Mike has earned as a local elected official and I hope you will join me in supporting his campaign.”
