Rudy Salas was first elected to represent the 32nd Assembly District in 2012. He is seeking another term, which the Independent Voter PAC strongly supports.
While in office Salas has been a friend for all voters who want to participate equally in California's elections. He's also been successful in working with both parties to secure budgetary funding for job training and local schools. A clear vision and steadfast commitment to serve people not political parties quickly earned him a reputation as someone who can get things done in Sacramento.
His roots in public service have been long-standing and in 2010, Rudy became the first Hispanic-American to serve on the Bakersfield City Council. He was also the first in his family to graduate from college - UCLA. Since graduating he's left a legacy of distinguished public service at the local, state and national levels.
Rudy Salas' record of fighting for the community in which he was raised speaks for itself. The Independent Voter PAC hopes to see another term with Rudy as the Assemblyman representing the 32nd District.
